As part of my, "If you show me yours, I'll show you mine" interview series, I'm joined today by T. Rico, author of Northern Lights.
Is there anyone you’ve always
secretly thought of as sexy that other people might find strange? If so, who?
Spending the night at the ice hotel
in Sweden sleeping on fur pelts atop blocks of ice, sipping frozen vodka shots
and making love until we melt that block of ice.
Tell me 3 fun facts about yourself
1.) I love to ski and hike
2.) I turned my childhood night-terrors into
great Science Fiction!
3.) I often experience extra sensory perception
and have been visited by ghosts
If you could bring one of your book
characters to life for only one night, which one would it be, and what would
you do?
Freddy Jorenby he is a doctor and
ancient alien who never left our planet. I would talk to him about his ulterior
motives for staying. Is it a “New World Order” or a genuine interest in the
race he created?
Lucille Ball – Humor is sexy
I agree. Humor is extremely sexy.
What’s the worst/oddest present that
you’ve ever received?
Worst
= Neckties for work when I no longer wore ties to work – No thought put
into a gift is a gift that should not be given. Oddest = A calendar when half
the year was over? REALLY?
Confession time: What’s
on your i-pod right now?
The Good: Classic
Rock Beatles / Zeppelin / Pink Floyd / Genesis
The Bad: Hanson
Brothers – I actually liked one of their tunes m-bop I think it was
The Ugly: Probably
some Eminem type stuff I was told was good. But I still can’t back ANY of the
hatred he puts forth in his tunes.
I have a lot of the same music on
mine.
Do you have any tattoos?
Yes – A Blackbird flying across a sun
with the Words “Take these broken wings and learn to fly” from the Beatles
tune. I got it as homage to my mom who passed last year and prior to her
passing broke both arms.
What’s your favorite snack?
Chips Ahoy Chocolate Chip Cookies – I
actually sometimes sleep-eat them, and don’t realize it until I wake up with
crumbs on my face and pillow!
As an insomniac who takes sleeping
pills, I relate to this answer.
What’s your ultimate fantasy?
I love that response. Thank you for joining me today.
