I issued a challenge to my fellow authors to bare their secrets on my blog all in the name of fun. I admit that I was a little nervous but in less than 5 minutes after I hit publish on that challenge I had takers rolling in. I've scheduled each author in order of when I received their responses.

Tell 3 fun facts about yourself:
1.) I modeled briefly in my early 20′s
2.) I’m right handed, but can only snap with my left hand.
3) I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up.
If you could bring one of your book characters to life for only one night, which one would it be, and what would you do?
“Beeta” from the (unreleased) short story The Blue Train. And I’d take her out for a few drinks and a long bullshitting session.
Is there anyone you’ve always secretly thought of as sexy that other people might find strange? If so, who?
Gary Oldman. He’s unbelievably talented and intelligent and has a great sense of humor, which is just yummmmmmmm.
What’s the worst/oddest present that you’ve ever received?
“Cheese of the Month” membership, after I told the giver I gave up cheese in my diet.

Amber Jerome~Norrgard was first published in her hometown’s paper at the age of seventeen.  Since then, she’s used writing as a free form of therapy to celebrate the best parts of her life, and to work through the rough experiences. Her first book “The Color of Dawn”, a collection of poetry, was published in January 2012.  She is co-creator, and co-host of "TweepNation with Amber and Dionne", a weekly podcast loosely related to Twitter and Independent Authors.  She is currently working on her psychology degree, and lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband and three children.
